Hello there, welcome! I’m Emma Akuffo, I was born in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa. In 2007, my family and I moved to the US. I’m currently a student at Montclair State University and I double major in Biology & Child Advocacy & Policy. Advocating and working for the wellbeing of children is my passion. As a community child advocate, I tackle social challenges young children encounter. I address educational, social, and health challenges pertaining to children in Ghana. As an education enthusiast, I advocate for reading books for the construction of children’s libraries in Ghana. As founder and CEO, of Combating CSA, my team and I educate children on how to prevent child sexual abuse. As a health advocate, I educate children and adolescents on dental and femenine hygiene. I also dvocate for medical supplies from hospitals and programs in the United for the KATH pediatric department. My dedication to health advocacy is rooted in my passion for medicine.
